Daslight has been at the forefront of technology since the early days. The first Daslight software was born in the summer of 1987. The arrival of the software and its interface will be a decisive evolution in the field of stage lighting.
The first release of Daslight software was for the first Commodore Amiga multitasking platform. The first sales will arrive a few months later with the packages for Amiga500 and Amiga2000. The package consisted of a plug-in computer interface and a 3.5-inch floppy disk.
Daslight was one of the very first lighting control software. The first range consisted of 32, 64 and 128 channel controllers in 0-10v format.
As we changed decades, Daslight continued to work on new and upcoming systems. This was particularly the case with Microsoft's Windows operating system and the DMX protocol. 1994 saw the release of Daslight NT software, available for Windows NT and 95 and capable of controlling up to 512 DMX channels.
Daslight software continued its progression in the 90s, improving its functionalities, its graphical interface and asserting its popularity internationally. In 2000, we launched our USB-DMX interface, a world first! This already had an autonomous memory allowing the management of DMX devices without a computer.
In 2011, we integrated our USB interface into an autonomous wall-mounted touch panel and thus offered a product suitable for architectural lighting control.
2016 is the year of birth of the Daslight 4 software. This is the most important evolution since the launch of the brand's first software. For the first time, Daslight is available for Mac and PC.
In almost 30 years, Daslight has become one of the most popular lighting control software. We are present in more than 80 countries around the world.
